Childrens Christmas - 2007 |

Each year the Second Time Shop sells used clothing during the first Friday and Saturday of each month. Proceeds are used to purchase new clothing for needy children screened by the Salvation Army. While the Second Time Shop is housed at St. Paul Lutherans Church, Franklin, many residents of the Springboro, Franklin and Carlisle community assist in its operation. Shown is a photograph preparing for the December 2007 event, showing stuffed toys that were also given to each child. Toiletries and fruit are also provided to each family. In 2007 200 children under the age of 12 from 100 families were assisted.

Deardoff Senior Center - 2007 - Wrinkle Revue |

Each year the Franklin Deardoff Senior Center "Ding-A-Ling" chorus puts on a musical commedy called the "Wrinkle Review", to raise money for the Center so that they can provide more programs for Seniors in the area. The Deardoff Senior center is a non-profit foundation. The photo shows four "Ding-A-Lings" performing a skit with the chorus in the background. | |

Lutheran Outdoor Ministries - 2007 |

Each year since 2002 Lutheran Outdoor Ministries has put on a program for unchurched youth in the Franklin/Springboro area. This photo shows some of the children attending the 2007 event listening to a bible story. During the week long event several activities were provided for the children including: bible stories, crafts, songs, worship, and a magic show. | |
| CROP Walk 2007 |

Each year on the first Sunday in October the Franklin/Springboro area churches (Including St. Paul Lutheran Church (Franklin), Epiphany Lutheran Church, St. Francis Episcopal, and the United Church of Christ (Springboro)) sponsor a CROP walk. The money collected is send to Church World Service for World Hunger. 25% of the money collected stays in the local community and is given to the local food pantry. The Thrivent Financial supplemental funds also stay in the local community and is provided to the Franklin Food Pantry for the area. 2007 REGIONAL CHAPTER LEADER SUMMIT |

The first Regional Chapter Leader Summit was held on March 31, 2007 in Indianapolis, IN. The theme of the Summit was "Let's Thrive Together". The Summit provided shared learning opportunities among the various chapters including: (1) celebrate accomplishments, (2) shared ideas, (3) discussed trends in volunteerism, (4) interact with leaders from other chapters, (5) learn about new initiatives, (6) meet a Habitat partner family, and (7) requirements to be come a Chapter of Excellence. The Lapp's and the Nelson's attended the Summit. | |
| Kings of Kings Youth - 2005 |

In this Care of Congregations® project the Youth of Kings of Kings sold hot chocolate, buns, lollipops and homemade Christmas Cards to fund their trip to the 2006 National Youth Gathering in Orlando. |
