A number of 2009 Care in Congregation events have already taken place. Hope Lutheran held it annual fundraiser for Hope Lutheran School featuring a catered Italian dinner and silent auction on 2/22. It plans to use the monies to resurface the playground for its students ages 2 to 5.
On 2/24, Grace Lutheran Church in Slaton held a Fat Tuesday pancake supper with silent auction to benefit their church.
Gloria Dei Lutheran church held a St. Patrick's Day Irish Dinner on March 15. Proceeds will benefit the Narthex Redecoration Fund as well as travel expenses for the youth to attend the Lutheran National Youth Gathering.

Hope Lutheran will hold a LWML Garage Sale on May 1. Watch for more details.
Shepherd King will hold a Chocolate and Bake Sale on April 4th
and an Easter Breakfast on April 12.
