The Mission of the Galveston County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is: "The Galveston County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans strives to serve members,congregations and communities and to encourage good stewardship of financial resources.”

In the year 2009, we anticipated many new exciting community projects. We have had many requests and are pleased to announce that all of the Care Abounds in Communities funds have been allocated to many worthy projects.

We will begin again taking requests for 2010 in January. Please watch for the announcement of the meeting date.
