* Ensuring that the chapter leadership board election occurs. * Ensuring that the annual financial audit occurs.
* Mentoring the vice president.
* Welcoming and admit new members.
* Installing new chapter leaders.
* Soliciting input from advisory members of the chapter leadership board.

What is the vice-president in charge of?
Responsibilities are to provide leadership to the board in the absence of the president and to consider possible election to the presidency after the current president leaves office. Together with, or in the absence of the president, this position is in charge of:
* Overseeing planning and strategic direction of the board.
* Providing direction and oversee the activity level of service teams.
* Ensuring that the chapter leadership board election and the annual financial audit occur.
* Serving as legislative contact for the chapter.
* Inviting elected officials to attend chapter activities, especially highly visible activities.
* Tracking and retain documented record of elected officials' attendance at chapter activities.
* Serving as the leader of the Nominating Committee, to identify future chapter leaders.
* Ensuring recognition of volunteer efforts.

The primary responsibilities involve maintaining chapter leadership board records. The records director is in charge of:
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, planning calendars and meeting minutes for the chapter leadership board.
* Receiving and process correspondence to and from community service teams.
* Submitting necessary non-financial reports to the Operations Center.
* Verifying that reporting is accurate.

* Verifying service team expenses and year-end financial reporting to the Operations Center.
* Maintaining financial records of income and expenses for the leadership board and respective service teams.
* Authorizing fund transfers.

Responsibilities include encouraging member engagement through the formation of service teams at the congregational setting. The congregational coordinator is in charge of:
* Monitoring congregational coordinator vacancies in congregations within the chapter.
* Supporting recruitment efforts to fill vacancies to ensure funding occurs through the Care in Congregations® program.
* Serving as a liaison between the chapter and the congregational coordinator team.
* Training and support congregational coordinators.
* Encouraging congregational service teams to conduct activities that qualify for funding.
* Providing follow-up to congregational service teams to ensure that activities are pre-approved, completed, funded and reported to the Operations Center.
* Providing feedback to the chapter leadership board on the progress of congregational service teams.

The chapter community service team director supports community service teams by encouraging them to form and initiate activities to qualify for funding through the Care Abounds in Communities® program which supports individuals, families and qualified not-for-profit institutions. The person plays a significant role in working to increase member engagement and growth.
