Whereas the Brazos-Burleson Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans receives approximately $14,000 annually to be used as matching funds for requests from member congregations coordinators; and
Whereas there are 10 congregations in the chapter; and
Whereas all chapter funds need to be expended in any given fiscal year;
Each congregation ca expect to receive support for at least one matching funds request, up to a total $1,600, received by the Chapter President before August 1st in any year. After this date additional funding requests will be considered depending upon the availability of funds, the appropriateness for the project, and the amount of funding previously received by the congregation.
