Welcome to the new St. Louis Heartland Region |
On May 1, 2006, the Heartland Region, RFO 332 merged with the St. Louis Gateway Region, RFO 528. We are excited about our new organization. Our Web sites have been combined under the new name, St. Louis Heartland, RFO 528. All information, including the list of all chapters from the previous Heartland Region, have been transferred to the new combined St. Louis Heartland Region Web site. |

County Historical Sites |
 Colony church Bishop Hill, a Illinois State Historical Site. Built in 1848 to serve the colony of Swedish settlers. Most of whom were former members of the Lutheran Church of Sweden. |
 Jenny Lind Chapel Dedicated 1854 Andover,Illinois. Named for operatic singer also known as the "Swedish Nightingale" who held a benefit concert in New York City and raised $1500 for the building fund. |

The Jenny Lind Chapel was the first Swedish Lutheran Church in America. It served the first settlers as a church, a meeting hall and a hospital during the cholera epidemic that occurred. |
