The South Cuyahoga County Chapter of Thrivent Financial, to glorify God, with unparalleled caring, provides financial support for those in need and inspires volunteers to make a difference in their congregations and communities.

A fraternal benefit society, Thrivent Financial is a not-for-profit membership organization that works through volunteer activities and gifting programs, with and through its members, to support their communities, congregations, and individuals in need.

The chapter, one of nearly 1,400 geographic groups of Thrivent Financial, has over 4,100 members.

Our chapter prides itself as an "A+" organization. In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010, we received the "Chapter of Excellence" award. And in 2008, we were honored with a "Certificate of Special Recognition" by Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. In November 2005, the chapter's web site was the "web site of the month" and our chapter Communications Director received Thrivent Financial's "Volunteer Excellence" award for the Ohio Region.
