...to our Chapter Web site! It's great to have you here!Our Chapter Board meetings are held every 2nd Thursday, 9:00 am sharp, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot Bay. Please join us, especially if you are a Congregational Advocate or Thrivent volunteer for your church. Bring your ideas and any requests for funding projects with you. Everyone's input is necessary so that we can serve our community in the best way. The Chapter Leaders present their reports and the board will vote on projects to be done and funds to be dispersed. See what you have been missing. | |
Chapter Board MeetingThere will be a Chapter Board meeting at Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot Bay, FL beginning 9:00 AM on October 13th, 2011. All Congregational Advocates are invited to the the Board Meeting so that they will know about the projects and updates from the board to their individual churches. You'all come and we'll see you October 13th! Coffee and goodies are served. Hope to see you there. |

Don't forget to set aside time to attend the annual Thrivent Picnic on the River at Fisherman's Landing located on Rt.1 in Grant/Valkaria two miles north of Barefoot Bay. The date is October 15th, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks provided. Bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Enjoy good friends, good food and good fun while enjoying sitting around talking, playing bingo or horseshoes. All are invited. RSVP. We are looking forward to seeing you at this very family friendly event.Also there will be our 2nd annual family Thrivent Bowling Bash at Shore Lanes Family Bowling Center 4851 Dairy Road Melbourne, FL 32904 on Saturday November 5th 4:00 to 6:00 PM. For the low,low price of just $10.00, you get unlimited bowling for two hours, shoe rental, 2 slices of pizza, soda and prizes!!!
