A greater difference.

Through the Care in Congregations program, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members receive financial support and other resources for volunteer projects and/or fundraising activities that benefit their Lutheran congregations and related Lutheran institutions.  This program helps multiply the good accomplished by volunteers by working with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans toward a common goal.  More needs are met.  More lives are touched.  More good is done where our members live and worship.

Eternal Trinity Lutheran Church

(2/2007)  The congregation is serving a Lasagna Dinner to raise funds for the implementation of the Fall Fest and to assist the youth who will be attending the 2007 Youth Convention.  Thrivent provided $416 for this project.

Jehovah Lutheran Church

(4/2007)  The church is serving an Easter Breakfast.  Proceeds will be used to help purchase new hymnals.  Thrivent provided $1000 for this project.

Redeemer Lutheran Church

(3/2007)  The Youth Group of Redeemer is sponsoring several dinners with the ultimate goal of raising enough money to pay for their trip to a Youth Gathering in the summer.  Thrivent provided $600 for this project.

(6/2007)  The LWML will be holding a sale to raise funds to purchase equipment for the new kitchen. Thrivent has been requested to provide $500 for this project.

(10/2007)  The church will be holding a Fall Festival to raise funds to help the ongoing projects of the school's PTL.  Thrivent has been requested to provide $500 for this project.

Resurrection Lutheran Church

(3/2007)  The Social Ministry Committee is holding a yard sale.  Thrivent provided $500 for this project.

St. Paul Lutheran Church

(4/2007)  Yard sale of donated items.  Proceeds to the Property Committee to help purchase a commercial vacuum cleaner.  Thrivent has provided $600 for this project.

(4/2007)  The congregation youth will sponsor a "donations" car wash during the yard sale.  Proceeds to benefit the youth program.  Thrivent has bee requested to provide $100 for this project.

(4/2007)  Members of St. Paul's Guatemala Mission Trip group will sell breakfast and lunch from the church kitchen during the yard sale.  Thrivent has been requested to provide $100 for this project.

(5/2007)  Spaghetti Dinner and Auction.  Members of the Guatemala Mission Trip group will cook spaghetti dinners, sell tickets, solicit auction  items and services, serve and clean up.  Thrivent has been requested to provide $300 for this project.

(12/2007)  Pizza Fundraiser.  Each Monday and Thursday the Preschool sells pizza lunches to the children.  Work is done by teachers, parents and church members.  Thrivent has been asked to provide $400 for this project.
