The Ozaukee County Chapter of Thrivent for Lutherans
is once again YOUR Chapter of Excellence for 2008.
How did we do it? We utilized 100% of our Care Abounds funds available from Thrivent. We met the goals for mailings, meetings, member events, congregational coordinator events and join hands activities. But most importantly, we maximized the good that you do in our churches and communities by multiplying the funds raised. Congratulations Ozaukee County! Here is to an excellent 2009. |

Dear Congregational Coordinators,
Trinity Lutheran in Cedarburg was an excellent setting for the
gathering of Congregational Coordinators on Monday night,
September 29th. Julie Ische was a lovely hostess and we hope you
had an opportunity to ask all of your questions. Because of
the turn-out and because you had requested your election
material early, the format was changed to one that was very
casual. Michelle Buss and Terry Ganyo connected you to your
election materials and answered most of your questions. The
Board is always open to your suggestion...continue to contact
any of us with your wonderful input. We are very happy that 12
congregations were represented by 25 people. It was and will be
a pleasure to serve with you.

Congratulations to Thrivent Builds. Ten homes in Milwaukee's
Harambee neighborhood were dedicated in services.
We saw the nice news reports on TV and in the paper!Also, Lakeside Habitat for Humanity will be doing
an Ozaukee County All-Lutheran Build in Port
Washington. Plans are being formulated now..
Lumen Christi Catholic Church will be
building their house at the same time in spring.
