President - Richard Bublitz
Home Congregation: First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg.

Family: Married to Lois and has three children along with six grandchildren.

Career: Richard joined the U.S. Air Force and served five years as a mechanic on B-47 bomers. He worked at Badger Meter, Inc. of Brown Deer for 37 years as a Shift Supervisor and Dept. Manager of the Plastics Department for residential water meters. Richard retired from work force and is now farming.

Education: Richard graduated from Cedarburg High School. He took various courses in the Air Force, University of New Hampshire and MATC in Mequon studying Physchology and Leadership.

Volunteer Background: Richard has been an Elder for eight years at First Immanuel Lutheran Church and also Vice President and President of Branch 3120 of A.A.L. At the present time he is an Advocate for Thrivent at First Immanuel Lutheran Church and also an usher as well as a member of the Senior Choir.

Vice President - Terry Ganyo
Home Congregation: Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church - Thiensville, since 1959

Family: Two daughters, six grand children, and a great grandchild.

Career: Terry was a carpet installer for 46 years and worked 10 years in a factory.

Volunteer Background: Terry has been involved in AAL since the 1960's, serving as Treasurer and President at various times. In addition to his AAL experiences, Terry also has had the privilege to serve 20 years on the Mequon Fire Department, has served several years as volunteer driver for the Red Cross, and is active with a pancreatic cancer support group (PanCAN). Terry states, “In my 68 years I feel I have lived several life times. I enjoy working with the Thrivent Ozaukee County Chapter Board and hope I can continue to make a contribution.”

Financial Director - Naomi Beyers
Home congregation: Faith Lutheran Church, Germantown

Family: Naomi has a son, daughter and three grandsons.

Career: Naomi is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been self-employed for the last eight years and prior to that was a controller for a Milwaukee law firm for 17-1/2 years.

Education: Naomi has a BA from Lakeland College. She majored in Accounting and has minors in Business Management and Economics.

Volunteer Background: Naomi is currently serving as Council Secretary along with being on the Board of Evangelism at Faith Lutheran Church. She has served on the Town of Jackson's Comprehensive Community Planning Advisory Group and also volunteered at Laubach Literacy Center.

Director of Congregational Advocates - Janice Wendorf
Home Congregation: St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton

Family: Jan is married to Rev. Kent Wendorf and has three children.

Career: Jan has been a Secondary Lutheran High School Teacher and Coach, worked in retail and also for a small office.

Education: Jan has a BA from Concordia University, Chicago. Her Major is Secondary Physical Education and a Minor in English.

Volunteer Background: Jan as had extensive volunteer positions with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) on all levels including National President from 2007-2011.

Communications Director - Lori Best
Home Congregation: St Paul Lutheran, Grafton.

Family: Lori is married to Shawn and has three children and two grandchildren.

Career: Lori has been an Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary. She is currently a L'BRI Pure n' Natural Independent Consultant and stay at home mom.


Education: Graduate of Grafton High School.

Volunteer Background: Lori was a Sunday School Teacher at St. Johns Lutheran Church of Lakefield and past member of the Ozaukee Humanes Society Board. She was a member and past President of the Grafton Jr. Womens Club, served on various boards for St. Paul Lutheran Church and School, is a member of the Grafton Booster Club and served on a number of committees and past Manager of her son's Grafton Soccer Club Select Team for four years.


Youth Director - Martin Hauser
Home Congregation: St Paul Lutheran, Grafton.

Family: Marty is married to Sandy and has four children.

Career: Marty is an Engineering Analyst at Rockwell Automation for 26 years.


Education: Marty has an Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics from MATC and a Bachelor Degree in Business and Communications from Concordia University.

Volunteer Background: Marty has lead Sunday School, Bible Classes and small group Bible Studies at St. Pauls Church. He has participated on the Worship Team, served on the Evangelism Board and is currently serving on the Youth Board. He also has participated as a leader and chaperone for three National Youth Gatherings along with serving on the Board of Living Word Lutheran High School.


Events Director - Neil Traxel
Home Congregation: Christ The King Lutheran Church, Port Washington

Family: Neil has three children.

Career: Neil is Recreation Manager at Circle B.

Education: Neil has attended two years of business college.

Volunteer Background: Neil is a former Branch Vice President and is very active as an LB member. He also enjoys being involved in many community and church activities.

Service Team Director - Diana Eggold
Home congregation: St Paul Lutheran, Grafton

Family: Diana is married to Brad and has two sons.

Career: Diana is the owner of DLE Designs Window Treatments.

Education: Diana has a BS in Biology from Carroll College.

Volunteer Background:This is Diana's second year working with the Ozaukee Chapter. She is the Website designer and Manager of the St. Paul Lutheran website 2006-present; Worship team member at St. Paul Lutheran 2002-present; St. Paul Communications Team Chair 2006-2008; served on the St Paul Planning Committee 2004-2007; member of the Grafton Community Scholarship Fund Committee 2010-present, chair of their Scrapbooking event 2011; Grafton High School Costume Design Team 2009-present.

Special Advisor - Rachel Ferguson
Home Congregation: St Paul Lutheran, Grafton.

Family: Rachel is single.

Career: Rachel is currently attending college.


Education: Rachel is currently a freshman at Condordia University in Mequon, WI. She is studying nursing with a minor in Missions. Rachel hopes to use her nursing degree overseas as a Medical Missionary.

Volunteer Background: Rachel has volunteered at Columbia St. Marys Hopsital for three years. She has also gone on mission trips to Mexico for seven years and was the fundraiser leader for the trips. She has also been actively involved in the children's ministry at St. Paul Luthern through Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Rachel has also went on a mission trip to India.


Financial Rep. and Thrivent Builds Adviser - Jim Meyer
Home Congregation: St Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton

Family: Jim is married to Kris and has three children.

Career: Jim has been a financial associate with Lutheran Brotherhood/ Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans for 29 years.

Education: Jim is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow
(LUTCF) and his earlier education includes a masters degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin, Miwaukee.

Volunteer Background: Jim has been the financial representative adviser to the Ozaukee Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for many years and served as the Chairman of Board of Personnel at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 2000 to 2006. He is a member of the St. Paul Endowment Committee since 2007 and is currently serving as Chairman. He is President of the Athletic Training Endowment Program at Concordia University Wisconsin, 2007-present, and spearheaded the “Lutheran Build” Habitat for Humanity Project in Port Washington that ran from the Spring of 2009 until December of 2009. Jim is currently a board member of the Habitat for Humanity, Lakeside Ozaukee County Chapter from 2010-present.


Financial Associate Advisor - James Wegner
Home Congregation: St Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton

Family: Married to Jane and has two children and also a grandchild.

Career: Jim has been a financial associate with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for over 24 years. Prior to that he worked in Management with Gimbel's Department Stores.

Education: Jim is a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). He received his BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Volunteer Background: Jim has been a financial representative adviser to the Ozaukee Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for many years an has participated in various activities and fund-raisers. He is currently serving his fifth year on the Board of Elders at St Paul Lutheran Church. Jim has also assisted for three years with the Meals on Wheels program with the Grafton Senior Center.

Family: Steve is married to Kristin and has one child.

Career: Steve has been a financial associate with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for 7+ years.

Education: Steve is a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC), Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), and his earlier education includes a double major in Finance and Business Management.

Volunteer Background: Steve is currently serving on the Board of Education at Calvary Lutheran School in Thiensville. He has also helped with various chapter related activities including a fund-raiser involving over 600 friends and family at a Milwaukee Brewers tailgate, baseball game, and auction.
