LeRoy Butler of the World Champion Green Bay Packers spoke at a wide variety of cities within the Greater Milwaukee Region in 2005, including Cambridge, St. John's Lutheran in Jefferson, Waterloo, Sun Prairie, St. John's Lutheran in Johnson Creek, and Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc. Lynn Mehringer heard him speak at her church, St. John's in JC, and again at her former congregation, Dr. Martin Luther Church. Part of the proceeds from the sale of his book, "The LeRoy Butler Story: From Wheelchair to the Lambeau Leap," and other merchandise was given to fund breast cancer research. Thank you, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, for sponsoring LeRoy. The message he presented was a good one for youth and parents alike. | | | | |
