Thank you for visiting our Chapter web site. We are the Kootasca County Chapter (from Northern Minnesota) with 2,659 Thrivent members (2007) who along with the Lutheran Congregations join together to volunteer in our local communities. Our chapter is one of 1400 nationwide local units of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.Thrivent members, in conjunction with our chapter, make a significant difference and impact through our help to individuals, families, congregations and communities. Our members make a difference every day through our chapter system.
One way our chapter relates to our communities is through Habitat for Humanity. Thrivent supports "Thrivent Builds" projects in our general area. Our most recent "Thrivent Builds Project" was in the city of Cohasset, Minnesota.
