Our chapter is one of nearly 1,400 nationwide chartered local units of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans that brings Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members together for charitable, social and educational activities. Chapters are organized geographically, primarily by county.

The following congregations are part of the North Oakland County Chapter: Abiding Presence Lutheran Church (ELCA), Calvary Lutheran Church (ELCA), Crown of Life Lutheran Church (LCMS), Divine Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELS), EPIC Church (LCMS), Gethsemane Lutheran Church (LCMS), Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (ELCA), Good Samaritan Lutheran Church (ELCA), Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (LCMS), Holy Cross Lutheran Church (LCMS), King of Kings Lutheran Church (ELCA), Living Word Lutheran Church (LCMS), Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word (LCMS), Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (LCMS), St. John Lutheran Church (LCMS), and St. Trinity Lutheran Church (LCMS).

All Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members belong to a chapter in the area in which they live, which enables them to aid themselves and others through voluntary action.

Each chapter has a leadership board made up of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members who are elected and/or appointed. The chapter leadership board is responsible for allocating funds to service teams for helping individuals and community organizations.
