Ed spent his young life in Chicago IL. After graduating from Valparaiso University, Ed took a job in Software Development in Phoenix Az - 1st with Honeywell and, later, with Motorola. Ed completed his Master's degree in Engineering at Arizona State University. In Phoenix, Ed held several leadership roles in his church, in Lutheran youth retreats and in Boy Scouts. After 31 years in Arizona, Ed took a job transfer to Colorado and lives with his wife Judy in Erie. They are active at Christ our Savior Lutheran in Longmont.

Ed has 2 grown children and one grandchild.

Ed is retired from Motorola but remains busy with his leadership responsibilities at his church, construction volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, long bicycle rides and traveling to Maryland to see his grandchildren.

Mark and his family joined First Lutheran Church in Longmont a little over four years ago. They have been Lutheran about 17 years now coming from a Baptist background. Mark is a graduate of the University of Akron and of Massillon Baptist College. His two sons, Seth (16) and Ian (14) are both in the International Baccalaureate program at Niwot High school. Mark is a financial analyst/Sr Credit Accountant at Medtronic in Louisville. His wife Sandra is a Neurosurgery Coordinator (RN) at Boulder Community Hospital. Mark have been actively involved with AAL and later Thrivent since 1993, most recently serving as an officer of the Twin Peaks Chapter in 2007.

Nancy was born and raised in the Midwest. She attend Iowa State University and graduated in 1981 with an Accounting degree. Nancy and her husband moved to Colorado in 1983 on their second wedding anniversary. She received her CPA certification in 1987. She has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years including banking, mutual funds, brokerage and insurance. Now, Nancy is working in the gaming industry for Jacobs Entertainment, Inc as the Director of Internal Audit. Her husband, Mark is the son of an LCMS pastor. They joined Beautiful Savior in Broomfield upon their arrival in Colorado. That’s when they first started working with AAL, now Thrivent. They later moved to the mission congregation at Risen Savior Lutheran Church and are charter members of that congregation. Risen Savior is still their church home. Mark and Nancy have 2 daughters. Ann graduated from CSU in May 2008 and is now working at Knowledge Beginnings Childcare Center at Stapleton in Aurora. Holly is attending Augustana College in Rock Island, Il pursuing a degree in marketing and playing varsity soccer. When she is not busy working; Nancy loves to travel, ski, golf, read, shop, sew and do craftwork. She has enjoyed working with the Twin Peaks Thrivent chapter as Records Director and has served 3 years in that position.

After a long career at IBM, Tom is doing just what he loves these days and does it all because “it’s fun!”

Tom's four children are out of the nest (two in Ft. Collins, one in Denver and one in Santa Monica.) He and wife Ginny (who works in Child Support Enforcement in the County’s Social Services Department) like to travel and share many hobbies.

Bob is married to Marilyn and they have four grown children. He holds advanced degrees in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. Bob worked at Ball Aerospace until 1994 when he and an associate formed Technology Applications, Inc., a small technology business in Boulder that develops cooling systems for governmental labs and the aerospace industry. Bob has been active in LB, AAL, and Thrivent in the Boulder Branch for over twenty years in several positions including President and Financial Director, and most recently as a Thrivent Congregational Coordinator. Marilyn and Bob recently moved from their home of 32 years in Boulder to Anthem Ranch and are new members of Risen Savior Lutheran Church.

Stan was born and reared in Indiana and graduated from Purdue University, intending to pursue an engineering career. After graduation and marriage in 1970, Stan and Kay moved to Colorado. Stan was employed as a Manufacturing Engineer and Industrial Engineer at Ball Aerospace, Storage Tek and Sun Microsystems, completing his full-time working career at General Electric. He completed his MSBA at University of Northern Colorado while employed at STK. Previously, Stan was involved in numerous officer positions at church and the former AAL branches, in addition to coaching local youth sports teams in basketball and softball. Stan and Kay are active members of Risen Savior Lutheran Church at Broomfield, CO. Kay is a former Lutheran elementary school teacher and has taught in Indiana and Colorado. She also held numerous AAL positions and is now enjoying semi-retirement after employment with American Red Cross for several years. Continuing with part-time work after retirement has left time to enjoy Colorado and our young adult children: a younger daughter Beth and her family residing in Greeley, another daughter Jen living in Louisville, and a son living in San Francisco with his family.

Annette moved to Colorado from Friendswood, Texas, in August of 2008 to begin her retirement years close to family in Colorado. As a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran in Houston for 31 years, Annette served in many volunteer capacities and retired after 20 years as Director of Business Administration where her administrative responsibilities included facility, financial, information systems and human resources management. Annette worked closely with the Thrivent chapter in Houston and looks forward to working with the Twin Peaks group to assist them in continuing to bless the lives of others. Annette, the daughter of an LCMS pastor, was born in Clarinda, Iowa, attended elementary and high school in New Mexico, and later lived in Kansas, Maryland, Delaware, and Texas. Annette graduated from St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas, and received her BBA from the University of Houston. She is a member of King of Kings Lutheran in Arvada. Her daughter, Diana Heyde, husband Keenan, and grandson, Duncan live in Westminster. Her son, Vance Wagenknecht and granddaughter, Emma live in Houston. Hobbies include reading, travel and golf.
