McPherson County has been chosen to participate in the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity project. In past years, McPherson County Habitat for Humanity has built one house per year. With this grant, two houses will be built in McPherson county in 2006. House #1 was built in the spring in McPherson, KS, by contractors.
House #2 is well underway in Lindsborg. The blitz build was held on Aug. 17 - 19. Please contact Harlan Shogren, 785-227-3487, for more information if you would like to help with this house.
