There were 17 children in attendance ages 2 ½ - 12. We had two exceptional teachers, a great music director and a talented craft teacher, along with at least 8 to 10 helpers at one time or another. |
The children started the evening by having a light supper supplied by the various church groups and went on to Bible Lessons, Crafts and ended the evening with parachute play and Yoga cool down. On the last day of “Gadget's Garage” the Christian Education committee along with faithful volunteers, served hamburgers and hot dogs to approximately 75 people including moms, dad, grandparents and whomever wanted to join in the fun. The children planted some marigolds and geraniums in a bare spot by the church and a few of the children water them occasionally. Last look they are doing well. The evening ended with snow cones and a huge water slide on the front lawn. |
