Fall Bazaar |

Oct 14,2006 (9 AM - 2 PM) St.Johns Church is having a Fall Bazaar
that will include a chinese auction,with a raffle.
A bake sale and a soup sale along with
Lunch to go with the homemade candy.
There are also crafts and pumpkins for sale,
then while enjoying the bazaar there is face painting for the kids and decals to decorate your pumpkins.

The Lutheran Council and UCC Consistory have formed a committee to begin the work of our two churches becoming one worshipping community. They are working on articles of agreement. When they are done, they will be presented to both congregations for study and vote.After the January 15, 2006 service there will be a question and answer discussion about what the committees have founded. During the discussion it was deemed necessary to have a second Q&A on Feb.19,2006 after the Joint Service.
The voting will then be taken after each respective service on Feb 26,2006,with the votes to be counted 12-1 pm.
Snow date will be March 5,2006.
The vote on Shared Ministry was taken and accepted by majority vote on 2/26 2006.
On April 22,2006 6-8 pm a coffee reception for Rev.David Schnaars
April 23,2006 10AM Passing of the Mantle.A lunch will be served
after to say thank you to Pastor Spada!!
April 30,2006 10AM worship.
Time flies, it is now six months since becoming one Joint Ministry.
On October 22,2006 there is going to be a Joint (open forum)
meeting to disscus where we are, what is happening to us, where we will be going. |

Special Thank You to the Senior Choir who faithfully rehearsed with me every week and on Sundays. Again, Thank You to the Junior Choir and Becky and also to the instrumentalists who put hard work into making our worship services inspiring and meaningful. Rachel |

Sunday School is held every Sunday before worship from 8:45 am -9;45 am. We have classes for all ages, and everyone is welcome. Confirmation classes are also held at the same time.
Registration starts August - September for Confirmation.Classes are with the summers off.
Confirmation this year will be on June 4,2006. |

Junior Choir ScheduleWelcome to a new year singing God’s praises with the St. John’s Lutheran
Church Junior Choir. I am looking forward to another year as your director.
Here is a preliminary schedule through Christmas. *Rehearsals will be every Monday from 6:30pm to 7:15pm
Inclement Weather – Choir rehearsal will automatically be cancelled if either the
Lehighton or Jim Thorpe school district is cancelled that day or has an early
