When Anna MacDonald decided it was time
to seek standby assistance in event an
emergency should arise. She made a visit
to the COA. After expressing her concern
about falling when doing chores outside
such as taking the refuse container to
the curb, she was pleased with the fast,
friendly service she received at the COA.
Joy Lindsey, COA staff member, demonstrates
the easy-to-use alert system to Ann MacDonald.
The alert is on 24 hour standby assistance/
help without dialing 911. Alert button is
worn around the neck and when help is needed,
all it takes is the press of the button.
Relative is notified and help/EMT arrives.
