CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

We checked with various nurseries and found that the cost of purchasing poinsettias would be very high - about $20-25 per plant. Therefore we are asking that our members and friends purchase a red poinsettia and either donate or loan it to the church to decorate for Christmas. Plants donated to the church will be delivered to shut-ins on December 26. Please let the church know if you are providing a plant and if it is in memory of someone or “to the glory of God.” Please bring your plant to the church no later than December 22 and call in advance to ensure that someone is in the office (487-4843).

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

You are invited to make a Christmas ornament (or 2 or 3) for our Christmas trees. Ornaments will be dedicated and placed on the trees on Sunday, December 12 during the offering.

The Worship & Music committee has FUN! We not only plan the worship for the congregation, but many other events such as the Wednesday evening potlucks. Almost everyone has an opinion about worship, but those on the Worship & Music committee can help put their ideas into action. We usually meet at 5pm on the 1st Thursday of the month so you do not have to be out very late.

Worship is central to what St. Peter is about. Please consider joining the Worship & Music committee.
