Saint Peter has so many good things to teach a pastor in training about being a strong light in a neighborhood with many hurting people. And Saint Peter will have the opportunity to learn from the intern as well. This is a great and wonderful way to go into the future.

However, because of the budget that was passed, I will only be serving half-time at St. Peter. There are still many things that must be done, primarily in preparing the sermon and Bible studies, as well as congregational meetings. I will also visit members who are in the hospital or close to death. I’d like to see you on other occasions as well, so please call my cell phone at 768-3138 and make an appointment. A plant that doesn’t ever change is a dead (or artificial) plant. But a plant that is healthy and growing strong is one that constantly follows the sun. I am looking forward to this year and the wonderful opportunities that St. Peter has before it. We follow the Son, who makes all things new and leads us to new life.
