 YOUTH NEWS AND HAPPENINGS! |
December Recap: During the month of December CHAOS held a dodge ball tournament with the youth from Mt. Zion. The groups enjoyed fellowship and pizza together. The CHAOS Leadership team had 1 meeting. CHAOS joined St. Marks in serving all the families from Main Street Mission a Christmas Dinner. CHAOS parents and youth donated dressing and desserts to help with the meal. We also had 10 parents and 24 youth help serve the families and clean up. We were truly blessed by this experience. The youth had their annual Christmas Party at Trinity with 43 youth in attendance. The group went caroling first at the home of one person from all four congregations as well as the local nursing home. After caroling the youth enjoyed a formal dinner served by the CHAOS parents. After dinner they enjoyed dessert, games and a visit from Santa who brought all the CHAOS members new t-shirts! We ended the month with a trip to the Big God Conference at Myrtle Beach where we enjoyed 3 days of music, ministry and fellowship. Our group totaled 36 and we enjoyed spending New Years Eve with our youth group and worshiping our Savior. Thanks to all the chaperones for your help!******************* "For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth. By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother's womb. My praise shall be continually of You." Psalms 71:5-6 ********************* "As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;" ~Psalm 103:13 | |
