THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
Thank you to everyone who pledged and contributed to the "Keeping the Promise" Campaign for Lutheran Services for the Aging. Our goal was $15,000. To date 55 families have responded with contributions and pledges amounting to $21,710! We are very pleased and proud of your response to this important need as the North Carolina Synod continues its efforts to provide care for those who are aging.

We also want to offer a special thanks this month to Mary Lambert and Janet Parsons for organizing and directing the Christmas Eve play. Thanks also to all those who have agreed to participate in some way and to the children's parents who have committed to bringing them to rehearsal each week.

Congratulations to Brian and Tamara Efird at the birth of a daughter, Joslyn Claire, on October 22.

THANK YOU

I would like to thank everyone for all the cards, flowers and prayers during my mom’s illness. Thanks to Pastor Tallent and Mike for a wonderful service. Thanks to the Julia Bost Circle for a wonderful meal. It truly means a lot to have friends such as yourselves. Love, Todd Johnson

In Memoriam
Our Christian love and sympathy go to all those who are having their first Christmas following the death of a loved one. The contrast between the celebration of the season and the absence of one we love can be very hard. May the love of God and the hope of the resurrection bring you comfort in this season of peace.
