The Bishops of the Southeast Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America
and the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan will preside at
a special worship service
to bless our new united congregation--we are one in the Lord!.
We vote on April 19 to become Spirit of Grace Church, a Lutheran-Episcopal community.
Relay for Life Team
We are forming a Relay for Life Team to raise dollars to fight cancer.
Our team will participate in the Waterford Relay at Pierce Middle School on June 12-13
Kick-off to raise dollars for our team was March 29.
We raised close to $500--and are off to a good start!
Inside/Outside Church Spring Cleanup Day--April 25
Participate in the spring cleanup from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Enjoy coffee and donuts in the morning for our break and
lunch around noon. Come dressed and ready to have fun!

Sunday mornings, 11:30 am - noon, studying the book of Acts.
Monday mornings, 10:15 - 11:45 am, studying the book of Genesis.
Men's breakfast and Bible study Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am. Lessons presented by one of the men each week.
All are welcome!
Quilting Group Tuesdays at 9 a.m.
All interested in quilting are welcome. No experience needed.
Group made 54 quilts for Lutheran World Relief in 2014.
Donations of used sheets and leftover material are always appreciated.
Ongoing Collections To Help Others
Drop-off containers for donations are in the church lobby area.
Items being collected are:
- Labels and box tops for education for Roosevelt School.
- Non-perishable foods for the Good Samaritan Church Food Pantry.
Senior Stretch and Tone
Come and exercise with us, Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m. - 12 noon.
Created by Vicky Palace, with over 10 years experience.
First session free; $2 each after that.
Gentle Yoga Spring Session April 1 - June 24
Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Extremely affordable $5.00 per class.
Instructor from Belightful Yoga.
Please bring mat and wear comfortable clothing.
No prior yoga experience necessary. Appropriate for all abilities.

For the donations for Easter Food baskets for three special local families.
For all the donations of winter hats, scarves, mittens and gloves for children in our community. They helped keep many heads and hands warm during our cold winter!
For the donations for Easter Baskets for women and children at the Haven shelter in Pontiac. They were delivered the Saturday before Easter.
For bringing 17 pots of soup with bread and cookies to serve a soup supper on March 25 for West Bloomfield Lenten Round Robin.
We served about 80 people from 4 churches plus our own 3 churches!
