Beliefs The job of the congregation is to help develop people of purpose who will try to live their lives to make a contribution to others in Jesus name. Our simple mission statement: LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, SPREAD HIS WORD. Jesus is Lord! He died on the cross for our sins. He rose from the dead. He did this because He loves all of his creation. We accept the historical catholic creeds. As Lutherans we accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God. Being Lutherans we hold that the Book of Concord is a confession of our understanding of certain Biblical teachings. Those who accept the historical catholic creeds and the "real presence" are welcome to commune with us at our altar. By real presence we believe that the bread and wine are also the body and blood of Christ.
