"The Choo-Choo Lutheran"

Purpose:
This web site was primarily posted as a resource for individuals who wanted to learn about the international membership of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Secondarily, it was also posted as a place where assistance could be requested for research into ancestors who have Chattanooga connections in the War Between the States, especially those buried here. Thirdly, it was hopefully a place to discover and have dialogue with other Lutherans who have a Southern heritage. In the 2004-2005 year, the SCV was engulfed in significant internal controversy among two major factions of leadership...unfortunately it's future as a heritage organization is suspect! Many of us "grannies" have now abandoned our membership in the SCV and are seeking affiliation with other Southern heritage groups now forming as aternatives. Although I still belong to the MOS&B, I am no longer affiliated with the SCV.
