 Beginning Sunday, November 29th we will have NEW WORSHIP TIMES. We will have Sunday School for ALL AGES at 9:00am and ONE Worship Service at 10:00am. Children and Youth Choirs will practice after worship until 11:30am. |

We are blessed to have our own Lutheran Seminary here in Columbia. If you have not ever worshipped in Christ Chapel at LTSS, you are invited to do so every Thursday night at 6:00pm. Once you hear the organ there, you will be drawn back to experience Jesus' presence in sacrament, song, and scripture.There is also Daily Chapel at 10:00am every day of the week, except Thursday. | Have you heard what our new Congregation-Wide Service Project is for the Fall?? We are doing Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse! Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. If you would like to participate by filling a shoe box with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, etc, get a shoe box and form from Lexanne! The South Carolina Synod Young Adult Movement (YAM) is a group made up of young adults ages 18-35. The YAM group offers fun events and gatherings throughout the year. So become a fan of "South Carolina Synod YOUNG ADULT MOVEMENT (YAM)" on Facebook. Since the holiday season can be a busy time for all, we have decided to host one gathering during this season. It will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 7 pm and we will gather at Jenny Tomalka's house (in Columbia). Please bring an hors d'oeuvres to share and a small gift to donate to a local charity. On Saturday, May 2, 2009 Lutherans across South Carolina participated in a community service blitz day called Operation Inasmuch/Join Hands Day. The purpose of the day was to to demonstrate collectively the love of Christ through public acts of service.
