About St. Paul's Ministries: |
|
St. Paul's Ministries began in February, 1998, as a collaborative effort with Second Harvest Food Bank of Nashville. St. Paul's Lutheran Church provides the facilities, Second Harvest provides the food and network for distribution, and Lutheran Services in TN provides overall supervision and coordination of the services. Members of local Lutheran churches and the community volunteer to work the facility under Coordinator Patsy Gidcomb. Around 100 families per week are fed with this "Emergency Food Box Program." Additonally, homeless mothers and their children are fed breakfast in the church on Sunday mornings each week. | |
