What is the best way to stay healthy? Eat Raw Food! Just by eating 50%-80% of your food in its raw, uncooked, unprocessed state, you can avoid and/or reduce the symptoms of over 100 diseases. Don't believe me? Just try it. Start drinking carrot and wheatgrass juice. Eat less meat and dairy. Eat an apple a day. Make delicious smoothies, pies, and cakes out of dates, figs, bananas, mangoes, and oranges. Eat your dark leafy greens (cooked or uncooked - for minerals and calcium). I promise you, you will get sick less, reduce body odor, period pain, acne, mental problems, forgetfullness, headaches (especially migranes), eliminate the desire for midday naps, get rid of that "puffy" feeling, and feel less irritable! In fact, over 100 diseases can be improved or eliminated just by eating whole foods!. I did it!
Of course, doctors don't want you to know this valuable information - they will make less money! Also, nobody benefits from spending lots of money to do studies to prove fruits and vegetables can cure diseases. While tendancies toward diseases can be inherited, whether we get them or not is dependent upon our lifestyle choices. You are not powerless to disease!
Did I tell you I wrote a book? It's called, "Raw Food for Dogs!" It's based on my personal experience treating dogs, including over 20 recipes for a raw food diet for dogs (of course, this includes raw meat). How much do you know about dog nutrition? Wouldn't a dog get e-coli from eating raw meat? Why not a vegan raw diet for dogs? Is a raw diet scientifically complete? Take this quiz!and find out! It sure has kept my dog out of the vet, and I love how she has no body odor at all! No doggie breath! Fewer fleas! No medical problems! at all!
Raw food is health care. You won't get sick on a raw food diet, if you balance it correctly, have the proper social support, and purchase the right equipment. A good place to start, is the book by The Boutenko's: "Raw Family" - which is about a family of 4 who overcame 4 different deadly diseases (including asthma, juvenile diabetes, a thyroid tumor, and a serious heart condition) on a raw food diet, and also how this family hiked the Pacific Crest Trail eating 80% wild, raw vegan edibles along the trail, and 100% raw food. See a picture of this family here! Their second book, 12 Steps to "Raw Food," will show you how you can successfully transition to a raw food diet. Take it from someone who's been there - the Boutenko's have been 100% raw going on 8 years.
You wouldn't expect to be a cooked-fooder without an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and stove - so why would you expect to be a successful raw fooder without a dehydrater, juicer, and nut grinder?
Excallibur Dehydrators- square dehydrators, for cracker- and dried fruit-making.
Juiceman- the best little juicer money can buy!
Greenlife- for grinding fresh nut butters, so you can get your essential fatty acids and other vitamins exclusive to nuts (like B-vitamins) without the rancidity of store-bought nut butters.
How to make raw food affordable? Check out Nomi Shannon's Raw Gourmet. There is also a FREE 7-Week Course -that's right - absolutely no strings attatched - so you can learn all about eating a raw food diet, including over 10 recipes absolutely free over the e-mail! There are lots of folks who think being 100% raw means you have to spend a lot of money. This is simply not true. Nomi will show you how to make good food in this
When you order my 25-page book, "Raw Food for Dogs," another 32-page book "Steps to Inner Peace," by the Peace Pilgrim, will be included at absolutely no cost! The Peace Pilgrim was a woman who walked across the United States 5 times, walking until she was given shelter, and fasting until she was given food. Word has it, that she ate a lot of raw food!

To order both these books, send $10 to Angie Barrick, 12591 S. New Era Rd. Oregon City, OR 97045. Each book comes with a personalized letter, detailing specific remedies for your dog. Be sure to include your mailing address, and any specific problems and diseases you think your dog might have.
I teach classes on raw food for dogs, and I love to travel, so if you are interested in learning some natural methods to overcome what the vet calls "chronic" or "fatal" disease, and you have a few friends, call me and ask me to do a class in your area. Learn all about affordable ways to get dogs healthy, and maintain an excellent skin coat and attitude. I strive to make my book, class, and remedies and recipes described in my book and class affordable to all (otherwise, what would be the point?). Affordable means, anyone making the minimum wage can afford it. Call for a consultation (503) 657-5664 or e-mail arawbabeandherdog@hotmail.com, to schedule a class in your area, or to order my book.
