TIME TO STIR THINGS UP …

The four Sundays in December, our 9:00 AM Worship will mark our preparation for the coming, or Advent, of our Lord. Each Sunday our lighting of candles in the Advent wreath will be accompanied by our addressing God with these special petitions, to—

December 3 – 9:00 A.M. – Stir Up Your Might!

December 10 – 9:00 A.M. -- Stir Up Our Hearts!

December 17 – 9:00 A.M. – Stir Up Your People!

December 24 -- 9:00 A.M. – Stir Up Your Power!

FLOWERS AND GREENS

This is a time for festive decorations and you are invited to make a special contribution for the poinsettias and the tree and greens that will add to the beauty of our sanctuary for Christmas. An envelope is provided for your use. Please PRINT names clearly, as they will be printed in the Christmas worship bulletins.

CHRISTMAS CARDS

Cards featuring photos of Faith’s Nativity figures of carved lindenwood will be available at the church entrance in boxes of 20 for $9.75 each. All proceeds from these cards go to the Crèche Fund.

WHEAT RIDGE SEALS

Use these Christmas stamps on your holiday mailings as a witness to your faith; and if you choose you may support the efforts of Wheat Ridge Ministries to seed new ministries of health and hope with the funds donated.

DECORATING THE CHURCH

Saturday, December 16 at 9:00 A.M. everyone is needed to help make wreaths, set up and decorate the tree, and prepare candles and other decorations. This is for all members and friends, and all Altar Guild members should make a special effort to attend. People are needed to climb ladders, cut greens, make bows, prepare candles, carry boxes, unwrap Chrismons, and so forth, so all levels of skill and experience are needed, as are many hands! Refreshments will be provided.
