Shepherd Offers Educational Opportunities for All Ages |
Christian education at Shepherd provides a basic and extended grounding in what it means to be a Christian and a Lutheran, beginning with the youngest of us. Sunday school, Confirmation, Bible studies (small group ministries), Sunday's Adult Forum, and vacation Bible school (summer) are offered. A new addition for 2008 is the Shepherd Book Club. If you have questions about any of these opportunities or about small group ministries in general, please call the church office at 303.530.4422.

SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL |

Shepherd's Sunday Church School meets each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. during the school year. Our dedicated staff of caring, loving teachers guide students from age 2 through 5th grade as they learn Bible stories through exciting alternatives to traditional Sunday School lessons. Through the use of drama, science, arts and crafts, service projects, and Bible study, students get involved and learn through a variety of activities. The creativity, experience, and energy of our teaching staff mean that children are engaged and inspired -- and even eager to come to church on Sunday! We invite you to bring your child to our Sunday Church School and Let Your Light Shine!

CONFIRMATION |

Shepherd's Confirmation program is excellent. Middle school youth meet every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. during the school year to learn the basics ... our Lutheran foundations ... focusing on the Bible and what it means to be a Lutheran. The two-year preparation culminates in Confirmation Sunday. Confirmation course also includes a week at our Lutheran church camp near Fort Collins.

Shepherd Day Camp is history for 2008, and what a wonderful week it was! Excitement, music, joy, crafts, and kids having a good time reigned supreme. Watch this page for an announcement of next year's vacation Bible school.
