“Stepping Forward in Faith:
Generation to Generation”

Psalm 127 declares: “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build, labor in vain.” From the very beginning of our efforts to provide a new education and family life building, it has been clear that the Lord is indeed the builder. We are so thankful for those who have made sacrificial commitments to the Lord and are now fulfilling those pledges.

Framing has begun. Needless to say, it is an exciting time for which we give God all praise and glory. Our newest newsletter is available on the communion registration table – please pick one up.

Thank you for all of your prayers, and encouragement. We look forward to a bright future of continuing to prepare children for life in this world - - - and the next!!!

In the Church, red is the color of the Holy Spirit. In sporting these red banners, we at Immanuel remind ourselves and the community that we have been given the gift of the Spirit at Pentecost - a gift that continues to strengthen us in faith and motivate us to witness to Christ our Lord.

White - in the Church, it is the color of celebration! Used for the festival seasons of Christmas and Easter, as well as for speical days like Transfiguration, Thanksgiving, All Saints Day, Trinity Sunday, it's a sign that God is blessing us in a special way.

In the Christian Church as well as in nature, green is the color of growth. As long as plants are green we know they are continuing to mature and, ultimately, to produce fruit. During the seasons of Pentecost and Ephiphany we focus on the teachings of our Lord Jesus, trusting that they will lead to greater faith and Christian maturity.
