Letter From The President

Moving into the month of May we attend confirmations and graduations, which are all milestones in peoples lives. We also come upon the end of another school year, which means there are finals and pressuring times of making the grade. Sometimes we doubt ourselves and feel we cannot go on or we just can’t win. This is not true though because God says to us, “You can do all things.” (Phil. 4:13) When we think that we are not smart enough he again reassures us by saying, “I give you wisdom,” (1 Cor. 1:30) God is in our midst and he is there whenever we need him. Sometimes when we think that God will not be able to help us with the little stuff, like math problems or writing an essay, he really can. He can give us the strength and power to go on. So when we are stressed out and in need of reassurance we can ask God for his help by asking for wisdom, direction, and will power. “Cast all your cares on ME,” (1 Peter 5:7) is one other statement that he says to us to help us when we are worried and frustrated. When you think everything is going against you take a look in your Bible and I am sure that you will find some more reassuring statements that our Lord Jesus Christ says to us. May the verses God has given you provide you with guidance and wisdom in your future milestones in life.
