Bible Study Activites

2007 Bible Study program
Starting in May the Bible Study program doubles to two evenings. With the aid of Ronald who has joined us as a vistor from Virginia we are able to offermore time and opportunity.

Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to about 8pm at St. Jacobi Bible Study and Fellowship is offered in Friendship Hall.

Saturday evening from 8:00pm Bible Study starts at St. Jacobi. On Saturday we invite members of the Culture Club to join in as well. Following Bible Study the participants are invited to stay for activities at the Culture Club such as Ping Pong, Fellowship and more.

When come for either Bible STudy time, ring the Office Door bell at 5406 4th Avenue to be admitted to Friendhip Hall.

2007 Lenten Bible Study
.
Following Worship each Sunday during Lent 2007 the Rev. Elsie Smith will lead Bible Study. The Rev . Smith is our Supply Pastor for the Lenten season.

Bible Study will be for about fiften minutes before Luncheon Fellowship to provide and opportunity to look at the pther Bible passages not used in the Sermon for the day. All are welcome to stay after Worship and to join in afterwards in our light meal and fellowship.

2006 Bible Study Program
In March a study program to go through the Gospel Of St. John was started. You may join in at any time at any study session at St. Jacobi following the Sunday Worship.

Materials will be provided to you. You need only come to one of the Bible Syudy sessions held following Worship on most Sundays. Session may not be scheduled on Festival Sundays. As Pastor Chang is you have questions about joining in.

Its is expected that the Bible Study program for 2006 will extend into the Fall, so please join us.

2005 Bible Study Program
A six week program meeting once a week for two hours. Three different times available:

Group A Friday evenings 7:30pm - 9:30pm: 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24 & 7/a

Group B Saturday mornings 10:00am to 12noon: 5/28, 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25 & 7/2

Group C After Sunday Lunchon 12:30pm to 2:30pm 6/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12, 6/19 & 6/26

Dates and Times subject to change

Each week a different Book of the Bible will be under study.

Registration is required in order to supply materials. Either complete a registration flyer in the Sunday Bulletin OR, call the Church Office at (718) 439-8978.

CHINESE BIBLE STUDY:
16 sessions. "Our Belief", by Martin Luther, the Reformer, translation from Tao Sheng Publishing House.

ENGLISH BIBLE STUDY:
16 sessions. Manna & Mercy", abrief history of God's unfolding promise to mend the entire universe by Daniel Erlander, Pastor/Artist.

Bring your Bible to each session. A suggested donation to offset material cost - $10.00. Please call the Church Office, 718-439-8978, for the session of choice.
