Ranger Bill is turns 60! No, not Knotty Pine's favorite chief ranger. Bill will remain the perpetually 40ish, rugged, clean and true guardian of the forest. But in the fall of 1954 Moody began broadcasting the Ranger Bill program.

That makes 2004 the 50th continuous season that Ranger Bill has been on the air blessing the hearts and lives of countless listeners with half-hour stories of adventure and faith. Ranger Bill began as 15-minute adventures on Monday afternoons from October of 1950 until early 1954 when the Saturday morning stories began.
