Evangelism...An Evangelism webinar is scheduled for Saturday, October 8 from 9:45 a.m. until noon. What is a webinar? It is a seminar conducted over the internet. Lutheran Hour Ministries offers its Special Speaker Series as a series of monthly webinars featuring an expert speaker in a particular area of evangelism or outreach. He or she will provide in-depth training on sharing the Gospel within a certain cultural or social context or to a specific group. This live, interactive training webinar provides viewers with ample time to ask specific questions of the special speaker.
The webinar this October will be Mighty Warriors: Seeking And Saving The Lost featuring Dr. Micah Parker. With humor and grace, Dr. Micah Parker will lead this webinar at the foot of the cross, where salvation was won and where evangelism begins! Centered in Christ, Parker will share how every Christian, even the most unlikely of candidates, has a place in God’s mission of seeking and saving the lost.
We will meet in the church at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 8. There we will set up the projector and connect to the internet for the webinar that begins at 10:00 a.m. The webinar lasts an hour. Afterwards we will gather in the multi-purpose room for discussion and fellowship. There is no cost for the webinar. We will be done in plenty of time to get to the gold outing for Italian Beef.
This will be an excellent chance for us to hear an interesting and informative presenter who will not only encourage us in our outreach to the lost around us, but also give tools and insight for being a part of God’s mission of sharing Christ. SEE YOU THERE!
