CALL COMMITTEEE UPDATE...Well the time has arrived. We will be holding a special voters meeting on SATURDAY, May 12th. This meeting is to place a call for an Administrative Pastor. Pizza and fellowship will begin at 11:00 am in the school cafeteria with the actual voters’ meeting starting at noon. Please plan on attending this very important meeting. Sign-up for the pizza will be on the call committee bulletin board. Please put your family name and the number of people eating by Friday May 11th. This is so we know how many pizzas to order.
During the meeting we will discuss the full process the call committee went through and each candidate. We will follow the guidelines set forth by our constitution during the voting process. So this may be a longer meeting than the usual voters’ meeting. I pray that all of you will plan on attending this important event as we all take part in planning for the future of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
I want to thank each person for their words of support during this process. But I want to really thank all of your for your prayers for the call committee, Immanuel, Pastor Fienen, and the future pastor that the heavenly Father call to serve with us in Danville. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact anyone one the call committee.
