Four youth went canoeing after church on August 9 at Turkey Run. On August 23 there was a meeting about the National Youth Gathering in July, 2010, in New Orleans. The age requirements have been changed to participate: 1) at least 14 years old at the time of the Gathering, OR 2) entering their freshman year in high school at the time of the Gathering, OR 3) will not have turned 21 by the time of the Gathering. We will be having a meeting for interested families in the near future. The estimated cost per person is $1,100 for travel, meals, lodging and the Gathering; we will be doing several fund raisers to offset these costs.
