Sacrament of
Holy Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated at services on the first and second Sundays of the month. A special service of Holy Communion is celebrated in Grace Hall on the Tuesday following the first Sunday of the month at 2:30 PM.

OUR BEGINNING - GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, DAWSON
June 19th, 1961

In the Spirit of engaging in work together and sharing unity through Christ; Trinity Lutheran Church and Riverside Lutheran Church merged into one congregation on June 19th, 1961. The first worship service of our congregation was held on July 2nd, 1961 in the former Riverside Lutheran church constructed in 1914. Pastor L.E. Smestad was installed as its first pastor on July 23. From the early beginnings of Trinity Lutheran and Riverside Lutheran congregations in Dawson, the declaration of the Gospel continues in the work of the people at Grace Lutheran. Thanks be to God!
