As a congregation, we believe in the inerrancy and infallibility of the Scriptures. We believe that Jesus Christ, the only Begotten Son of God, is the only way of salvation. We beleive that the sinner is saved by grace through faith and not by works. "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." -Eph. 2:8,9 The sinner appropriates his salvation by putting his trust and faith in Jesus alone. We believe everyone must be converted, which means, at some point in his life, the sinner must come to grips with his sin before God, consciously repent and seek God's forgiveness which can be found only in His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the Pietistic Lutheran Traditions, where we are called by God's grace to walk in a holy manner before Him. In Romans 1:7 (NASB)the Bible says, "to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints:" ie., called as "holy ones" Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
