Pastor Skip, Julie, Allie, Daniel, and Michael. |
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus!
My name is Skip Nizinski and it is a real blessing and a privilege to be serving as the pastor here at St. Paul's.
I was ordained in August, 2004 after my graduation from Concordia Seminary (St. Louis) in May. I grew up in the Pittsburgh area and went to college at IUP where I majored in computer science. I spent 19 years as a computer programmer at IBM locations in Poughkeepsie, NY, Boca Raton, FL, and Austin, TX prior to hearing God's call to attend seminary. I am excited about being here and look forward to seeing how God's plan unfolds here at St. Paul's.
Something else I think is important for you to know about me is that I am not a life-long Lutheran, nor is my wife. We decided to join the LCMS in 1998 because of its Christ-centered, Bible-based values. We felt that this was important not only for ourselves, but also that our children be raised in a church that bases all that it does on the inerrant Word of God. This is what I preach and teach, as well as what our church preaches and teaches.
I have been blessed with a loving wife, Julie, loving children Allie, Daniel, and Michael, and a loving congregation.
If I can serve you in any way, please give me a call at 717-764-4746 or email me at yorkshepherd@verizon.net.
God's blessings to you! |
