Artist cleverly disguised as a Stay-At-Home Mom |
|
I am a stay at home mom (oxymoron) who is an artist on the side. You've heard of art therapy, right? Well, with a husband, 4 kids and 1 cat and 1 dog - it's needed! But someday the kids will be raised and I will be a mom disguised as a Stay-At-Home Artist! But now that I have found murals, I guess I won't be staying at home much at all, will I?? | |

If you look close, you can see the spray from the sprinkler coming down on the spring flowers in the picture below. This is one of the ways i try to tie all the murals together; by putting some of one mural into another. |

These are some of the pictures that were in a gallery show in St. Somewhere Cafe in West Bend, WI. Nice little coffee shop with sandwiches and soup, live entertainment and a small art gallery which changes every few months. At the north end of the quaint downtown area. |

My next - but not last - gallery show at yet another coffee house. Very cute new one run by 3 lovely ladies across from Ferannti's in Grafton. This was March of 2004. "Faerie Song" and "Peter Pan" went on to win blue ribbons at the Washington County Fair in 2004.

| A bit of this and that |
Here are some of my other pictures that can't really be grouped into any one area. These - as the others - are done in graphite pencil and color pencil. It is a forgiving medium and one that can be put away quickly and virtually no mess. Works for me for now. |
