BASEMENT WALLS ARE POURED |
The concrete work took about 2 wks to complete (the rain delayed the job a few times). On DAY 1 of the construction, our crew had the basement walls erected, and the floor of the upstairs done. |

Since we had a 4ft crawl space, we needed to add a "raised" basement to our house. The back kitchen wall is coming out and you will walk out into a hallway that goes downstairs to the basement, upstairs to the 3 bedrooms + bath, or outside through a slider to a covered 12x18 deck!! |

On DAY 2, our crew had the 2nd floor framed in, and roof rafters put on. The following week would be putting on a roof above the existing house and garage and tying it in to the addition roof. They work FAST; the bulk of it is done and they've only worked here for 9 days!!!After the roof is completed, windows should follow (sched for mid-July) and then after windows comes the siding, and then the deck...and then they are done. Our house is going to look like a brand new build (till you get on the inside and see all the work we have left to finish)! :-) |
