Our School Overview |
Trinity Lutheran School was established in 1869. Its purpose is to strengthen children in their faith, that they may grown in knowledge of their Savior, and in their love for Him be of service to Him and one another.Trinity offers 3-year old preschool through 5th grade programs. Education is offered in the areas of religion, math, reading, language, social studies, science, computers,art, Spanish, physical education and music. In addition to our formal education, we also offer piano lessons to students who are seven years of age or older. Trinity works to maintain small nurturing classes. Class size is limited to 15 students in young-fives and kindergarten and 20 students per grade in grades 1 - 5. One of the most important activities at Trinity is our weekly Chapel Service. We also have a monthly mission project, which we support with our weekly offerings. Devotions are religious instruction are a daily part of our curriculum. All teaching staff at Trinity are certified teachers. | |

SPECIAL SERVICES |
Nutritional mealsw are offered daily through our federally funded Hot Lunch program.Bus service is available for 4-year old preschool through grade five students. Students have access to computers in each classroom for word processing,research,tutoring and enrichment. Trinity's library is available daily. An Enrichment Club is offered one day a week after school for s 1-1/2 hours. Students may take part in classes in sign language, cooking, crafts, tutoring, academic games, etc. Students participate in several service activities for school, church, and community. Trinity offers many field trip opportunities to help enhance the children's learning throughout the year. | |

Parent Involvement |
Parent involvement is very important to us at Trinity. We encourage our parents to take an active role in our Parent Teacher League, which meets monthly. Parents are asked to volunteer 10 hours a year.Trinity also has a Moms in Touch Group that meets on Wednesdays after chapel to pray for the students and staff of our school. |

Enrollment Information |
Enrollment of new students begins in March and is based on the availabilikty of space in classrooms. Students do not have to be Lutheran to attend Trinity Lutheran School but are expected to fully participate in all classes.Trinity Lutheran School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies or other school administered programs. | | | | |
