Our Mission Statement and Philosophy
We believe that Christ is the center of our education and each child is a unique creation of God. We strive to educate the whole divinely created person. Our school stresses the concept of self-help. We believe and teach our students that they are the ones who must take the responsibility for their education. Each child is seen as a "potential" for the Kingdom of Christ.
Each child is welcomed as a member of Christ's family. |

Our Curriculum
The four basic skills stressed at St. Mark's are reading. writing, mathematics, and religion. In addition, we offer social studies, spelling, science, computer science, art, music, and Spanish. Our student textbooks are continually up-dated to meet the standards of the State of New York. |

Our Faculty and Staff
St. Mark's has been blessed with an outstanding group of staff members. Their dedication and professionalism have been the mainstay of our school for many years. Their efforts help to discover, encourage, and enhance the true potential for our students. Three of our teachers had been selected "Lutheran Teacher of the Year" by the Lutheran Schools Association. |
