Monday July 25 WD and I leave for our trip to NY city to spend a few days with Jason and Victor on Fire Island (they rented a beach house on the island) We're leaving a few days early to see the sights in NY and also taking in "Phamtom of the Opera" and "Fiddler on the Roof". Two great musicals. I hope the weather is not to hot and muggy while we're there. You can't beat San Diego weather in the summer, or for that matter any time of the year.
If you get a chance watch "So you think you can Dance" on Fox every Wednesday night for the next several weeks. It is very entertaining and my dance instructor Mary Murphy is one of the choreographers and, at some point, will also be a judge. (Above posted 7-23-05)
Jermaine, I got your email. To become an administrator you have to first register on the Lutheranonline.com web site. Then any other administrator can make you an administrator. I have made every family member an administrator so they can modifiy any portion of the web site. Steve and Sandy and Winston should be able to approve you as they are also administrators. Once you are an administrator you can modify the web site as you like. But you have to register on the Lutherans On Line home page. Send me an email when you do as I don't go to this site too often as no one is using it. (Posted 7-7-05)

We did it!!!!!! Jennifer and I went to our local Joseph-Beth booksellers last night (or should I say this morning at 12:01) for Jennifer's copy of the latest Harry Potter book. Have you all gotten your copy????? We went at 8:30 last night and enjoyed the party. At 11:30 we went to get in line for our book. We went out of Joseph Beth's front door, down the row of about 8 other stores, turned right, went another block, made another right turn, went another block and there it was, THE END OF THE LINE. So we stood and waited for another half hour for the stroke of midnight. Yup. They rang the bell. Countdown. 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-Hip Hip Hooray. The line started moving. Anticipation is high. We're actually moving. Up the block, around the corner, around another corner, we're on the straigh-way now. We can actually see the beginning of the line in the distant. Oh, we're getting close. Our hands are sweating. We're checking once, twice to make sure we still have the voucher for the book. I've got to take Jen's picture as she is handed the book. Pressures on. Click! Did I get a good picture. You bet I did. What a night. We got home at 1:30. It only took a half hour for us to reach the front of the line. We looked back as we left the parking lot. We could not see the end of the line because it was still wrapped around the building. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

P.S.: We'll put some pictures on the site of our exciting evening as soon as we figure out how to get them from the camera to the website.
