Trinity Lutheran Church exists primarily for the sake of those who are not yet members of the body of Christ in the world, and to glorify God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, with the preaching of the Gospel, the administration of the Sacraments, by carrying out our Lord's great commission to baptize and teach, to promote unity of faith and to foster Christian fellowship. We believe that the Bible is God's Word, revealing to us the good news of Jesus' life, death and resurrection for us. Living joyfully as members of God's community, we seek to serve Him by sharing His love, growing in knowledge and faith, showing this faith in our daily lives, and by caring for others in His name.
Trinity Lutheran Church has an active Youth Committee that plans a year round program for children and young people to build their understanding of the Word of God, and to foster fellowship and healthy relationships with others and participation in the worship service.
The Social Ministry Committee of Trinity Lutheran Church is very active through Lutheran World Relief, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and various community agencies - Community with a Heart, Salvation Army, Rape Crisis Center, Interfaith, Arnett House and others, and routinely contributes about eight to ten thousand dollars annually to community and global programs.
