Do you have some scrap iron, copper, a generator, or any old metal junk that you want to get rid? Do you have metal objects lying around your yard, barn, or basement that you've had for years and wished for a way to get rid of it. If so, the Men of Leer Lutheran Church can be the answer for you. As a fund raising project,the men of Leer will pick up scrap metal of all kinds, to turn in for cash. Not only will you help the Leer men's group raise funds to serve the community, but it will also give you the opportunity to rid your property of those pieces of unwanted metal. Cars, car bodies, frames and nearly any piece of metal will be accepted. Items such as electric motors, aluminum, copper, car motors, transmissions and other car parts are also welcome. The current project of the Leer Men's group is to provide to our shut-ins, audio/video equipment for viewing the images and sounds of the spoken Word via DVD recordings made of our Sunday morning services. So, if you have unwanted metal of any kind (except propane tanks and batteries), please call Bob McMillan at 989-379-4076, OR Ed Olsen at 989-379-2786 to arrange for pick-up.
