Where is the church located? TLC is at 1200 Easy Street, at the intersection between 2nd and Easy Streets.

What is "Lutheran"? What does it mean to be "Protestant"? In October 1517 a German monk by the name of Martin Luther nailed 95 Theses (statements) on the door of the Wittenberg Church, protesting various practices of the Church. His preaching and writing called for a reform of the church. Today this period of time is known as the Reformation, and the Christian tradition stemming from the Reformation is called Protestantism. "Sola Gratia/Sola Fide/Sola Scriptura" I've heard or seen one or more of these phrases; what do they mean? These mean that it is Sola Gratia/Only by (God's Divine)Grace that we are saved only by God's goodness, and not by our own "good works"; and that this is Sola Fide/Only by Faith; finally, we trust Sola Scriputura/Only in Scripture/Bible and not human tradition as authority for our life and faith.

How old do I have to be to be baptized at your church? The Bible doesn't specify a certain age to be marked as God's child; it tells of entire households being baptized. A person of any age may be baptized - this is a wonderful image of God showing undeserved grace to all of us!
I enjoy singing but have never had any formal training. May I join the choir? Please do! Choir practice will resume in the fall, and we invite you to speak with the choir director about joining us!
