 Chamber Orchestra Accompaniment |
Under the direction of Alan Hack, the Jubilate Choir, Orchestra, and Ringers presented a spectacular Christmas celebration again in 2010. This was the sixth consecutive performance. The group and the splendor continue to grow and grow each year. For more details, contact Alan at 570-854-0733 or hack0621@gmail.com.2011 ~ (from the Sept. 2011 Newsletter) This past year, a generous donation of the 4th octave of chimes was given in memory of Betty Klingaman by her sister, Joyce Brobst. In addition, the 5th octave of chimes and bottom 7 handbells of the 5th octave were donated by Dorothy Evans in memory of her sister, Betty Shoemaker. These wonderful instruments are invaluable to the mission of our own church bell choir and The Fountain Ringers. The handbells and chimes will be dedicated at our 10:30am worship service on September 11th. Please plan on participating in this special dedication and worship service. The Jubilate Choir has begun rehearsals for their 7th annual Christmas Concert. Concert dates are set for Saturday, December 10th at 7pm and Sunday, December 11th at 3pm. Please mark your calendars early!!! This year, the choir will be singing a compilation of 12 choral arrangements ranging from traditional pieces to more modern selections of Christmas favorites. The choir will again be accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra. After a very successful concert last season, the choir has been blessed with a greater interest in being supported by a live chamber orchestra. In the coming months, the choir will be accepting sponsorships to offset the costs associated with the performances. Your support and generosity will certainly be greatly appreciated! Alan | |

 | Jubilate Choir - December, 2006 |
|
 | | |
 | The Jubilate Choir was formed in September 2005 in hopes of bringing a body of Christian singers together to praise God through song. In 2007, the group of 35+ talented singers performed a Tom Fettke production entitled "Festival of Lights." The 2008 performances were hugh successes! The performance (for the fifth year) in 2009 included an orchestra for the first time.~ ~ ~ see special note above ~ ~ ~ . For more information on possibly joining the Jubilate Choir, please contact our Director of Music, Mr. Alan Hack, at 570-854-0733 or hack0621@verizon.net or the church office at 570-784-4515. God Bless. |
